The DeMotte Police Department has
Six (6)
full-time officers; four (4) Part-time Officers and (5) five Reserve Officers.
The Full-time and part-time officers are responsible for providing
police protection in and around the Town of DeMotte twenty-four
hours a day, seven days a week. The Reserve Force is responsible
for one patrol day each month during which they are fully
empowered patrol officers. Their duties are similar in scope to
the full-time Officers but their primary duty is to assist the
on-duty full-time officer.
News: This year we have seen a few changes to the DeMotte Police Department roster.
The town board has approved the addition of four part-time officers and we have added one new reserve.
Congratulations to:
Part-time Officer: Jim Gehring
Part-time Officer: Jay Woodlock
Part-time Officer: Mike Cain
Part-time Officer: Brandon Napier
Reserve Officer: Zoran Trpeski
