The DeMote Police Department believes that crime prevention is the responsibility of us all, not just the police. The citizens of the community act as our eyes and ears and help us keep DeMotte a safe place to live. We rely upon information provided to us by community minded citizens to effectively combat crime within our community and ask that everyone take an active stance against crime in their neighborhoods. We have taken the initiative to provide the community with several crime prevention tools to help neighbors take a stance against crime and communicate with their law enforcement agency.
