Children under four (4) years of age must be in a child safety seat that meets Federal safety standards.
Children 4 to 12 must be in a child safety seat or a vehicle safety belt (front and back seat).
Children under the age of four must be properly fastened and restrained in a child safety seat.
The driver is responsible for children under 12 being properly restrained.
Drivers of children not properly restrained can be fined $25, and if the child is under 4, be assessed 4 points.
